"WipeTIF.Bat"

This free batch file compacts your Cookies' Index.Dat file and completely cleans out your "TIF" or Temporary Internet File Area. It targets junk files that the original "Cleanup.Bat" versions were not designed to get at.

This file is specifically for Windows9x.

STEP ONE:
Read the above, and then
Download WipeTIF.Bat
and save it to your C:\ directory
(In some browsers, you may need to right-click on the above link and select
'save link as...')

STEP TWO:
Download WipeTIF.PIF
and also save it to your C:\ directory
(In some browsers, you may need to right-click on the above link and select
'save link as...')

STEP THREE:
Use NotePad (or a similar text editor) to open and read the contents of C:\WipeTIF.Bat to ensure the commands and structure are OK to run on your particular setup.

STEP FOUR:
If the file is OK to run on your system, double-click on C:\WipeTIF.Bat and enjoy your new-found disk space!
